Copyright & Takedown Requests
Last updated: October 23, 2026
If you are the rights holder of a production and want content on our site removed, follow the procedure below. We take every request seriously and handle it quickly.
1. Our copyright policy
CrownDrama respects intellectual property rights. We review takedown requests from rights holders and promptly disable access to content when a request is upheld.
2. How to send a takedown request
Send your request to [email protected] with “Takedown Request” in the subject line.
Your request must include:
- The title of the production you hold the rights to and a document or explanation showing your rights.
- The full addresses (URLs) of the pages you want removed, one per line. For an entire series, the series page URL is enough.
- Your contact details (name, organisation, email).
- A statement that the use in question has not been authorised by the rights holder.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to make the request.
3. How quickly will you hear back?
We review and resolve complete requests within 3 business days at the latest. If information is missing, we will ask you to complete it, which extends the process.
If the request is upheld, the content is made inaccessible and you are notified. The page of a removed series shows a “Removed due to a copyright claim” notice.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address. Include the address of the removed content, your identity and the reason you believe the removal was a mistake.
5. Reporting abuse
If you see illegal content or content that breaks our rules on the site, report it to [email protected].
